INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Culture, Health, Arts, Sports, and Education (CHASE) Fund now invites sealed bids from eligible CONTRACTORS for:

  • Security Services: CHASE Fund – Corporate Office, located at 8 Belmont Road, Kingston 5.
  • Proposed “Construction” of: Old Harbour Infant School – St. Catherine.
  • Procurement of: Learning Resources for Early Childhood Institutions Islandwide.
  • Procurement of: Cooling Solutions for Early Childhood Institutions Islandwide.

 

 

 

  • SECURITY SERVICES FOR CHASE Fund – Three (3) years (2024-2027).

The provision includes a twenty-four (24) hours, two (2) shifts per day, seven (7) days a week (including Public Holidays), Unarmed Security Services for CHASE Fund for a period of three (3) years commencing March 2024 – February 2027.

 

  • Old Harbour Infant School in St. Catherine – Eight (8) months.

The work comprises the construction a new four (4) Classroom building to include kitchen, office, sickbay, bathroom facilities, etc.

 

  • Learning Resources for Early Childhood Institutions Islandwide:

The provision of much needed learning resources/materials to select Early Childhood Institutions across the island.

 

  • Cooling Solutions (Fans) for Early Childhood Institutions Islandwide:

The provision of wall fans for select Early Childhood Institutions across the island.

PPC – It is mandatory that contractors be registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the category of “Safety & Security Services – Guard Services” for the mentioned procurement opportunity.

 

PPC – It is mandatory that contractors be registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the category of “Building ConstructionGrade 2 and above.

 

  • Learning Resources for Early Childhood Institutions Islandwide:

PPC – It is mandatory that contractors be registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the category of “Educational Toys and Equipment” for the mentioned procurement opportunity.

 

  • Cooling Solutions (Fans) for Early Childhood Institutions Islandwide:

 

PPC – It is mandatory that contractors be registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the category of “Electrical Appliance & Tools” for the mentioned procurement opportunity.

 

TCC – All bidders must be Tax Compliant at the time of bid opening. Bidding will be in accordance with tender procedures as outlined in the Public Procurement Act 2015, its amendments (2018), its Regulations (2018) and its Revisions.

Interested bidders can obtain Tender Documents as of Monday, November 20, 2023, via the GOJ Electronic Procurement Platform (GOJEP). All queries concerning the Tender Documents/drawings shall be made via the GOJEP Platform.

 

No clarification will be addressed by any other means.

The bid shall be valid for One Hundred and Twenty Days (120) days from the date of bid submission.

 

For the proposed “Construction” of Old Harbour Infant School – St. Catherine.

The bid security shall be One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00).

 

The original bid security in the form of a Manager’s Cheque or Bond shall be hand delivered to the Procurement Officer at the office of CHASE Fund at 8 Belmont Road, Kingston 5, on Friday, December 15, 2023, on or before 2:00p.m.

 

A copy of the bid security shall be included in the online bid submission.

The Tenders along with the required documents i.e., PPC certificate of registration, a valid TCC/ TCL, Tender Bond, etc are to be uploaded on GOJEP on or before the deadline of 1400 hrs (2:00 p.m.) on Friday, December 15, 2023. 

Late Bids will automatically be rejected by the system.

Tenders will be opened online on the GOJEP Platform on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 14:15 hrs (2:15p.m.)

The standstill period is three (3) days.

 

After evaluation of these documents by the evaluating committee, and subsequent referral to the appropriate authorities for approval, the successful contractor will be accordingly notified.

CHASE FUND is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and also reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point before the award of a contract without incurring liability to any of the bidders.

TENDERERS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE CONTRACT IS FIXED AND NOT SUBJECT TO PRICE ADJUSTMENTS.
