The Culture, Health, Arts, Sports & Education Fund is pleased to announce its offer of scholarships for study in the following disciplines:
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Scholarships are being offered for professional training tenable at an accredited educational institution towards:

Undergraduate Degree:

  • Bachelor of Education Degree
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Special Education

Post Graduate Degree in the Specialized areas of:

  • Special Education
  • Child Behaviour and Development
  • Instructional Design
  • Education Administration
ARTS & CULTURE

Scholarships are being offered towards undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with priority focus on:

  • Performing Arts
  • Art Education & Management
  • Visual Arts
  • Film Production
  • Cultural/Heritage Studies
  • Museum & Archival Studies
HEALTH

Scholarships are being offered for:

Post Graduate Degree

  • Radiation Oncology

Fellowships

  • Nuclear Radiology
  • Paediatric Nephrology
  • Paediatric Pulmonology
  • Paediatric Cardiology

Nursing Specialization

  • Critical Care
  • Neonatology

CRITERIA
  • Applicant must be a Jamaican National
  • Have a satisfactory level of academic achievement
  • Have demonstrated exceptional talent in their chosen area of study
IT IS MANDATORY THAT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE UPLOADED WITH APPLICATIONS:
  • Evidence of acceptance from an accredited institution
  • An official transcript where applicable
  • Copy of Resume
  • Personal statement (Short Essay of Justification)
  • 2 written references (academic & character)


Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
Overseas Programs will not be considered if available locally.
Successful candidates will be subject to bonding in accordance with the GOJ bonding policy – see website www.mof.gov.jm

Scholarship Policy – Arts and Culture Sector

CHASE Fund Arts and Culture Scholarships and Education Grants are integral to the fulfilment of the objective to “establish, fund and implement programmes for the development of talents and skills in the areas of arts and culture”.

Scholarship Policy – Early Childhood Education Sector

The specific objective is to provide scholarships for candidates to pursue early childhood professional training leading to an Undergraduate or Associate Degree in Early Childhood; a Post Graduate Degree as well or specialised short courses.

Scholarship Policy – Health Sector

CHASE Fund Health Scholarships/Grants are integral to the fulfilment of the objective of training personnel to administer and operate health facilities, children’s homes, palliative and drug rehabilitation centres, AIDS hospices and shelters for the homeless.
